The 93% aren't unlucky. They're unrecorded.

By profession I put a number on other people's retirements. Six years of actuarial consulting: a company promises thousands of people money they'll collect in thirty years, and someone has to say what that promise is worth today. Then you hand your number to an auditor whose entire job is to break it. You come out of that permanently unable to trust a figure you can't reproduce.

Then I'd close the laptop and open a trading screen — and watch people take on risk a pension fund would never be allowed to touch, with no framework, no record, and no way to tell a good decision from a lucky one.

That's the gap these books were written into. Not another strategy. A record, and a way to grade it. Because a good decision can lose money, and a bad one can get lucky and win. Over a hundred trades, only good decisions survive — and almost nobody grades themselves that honestly without a system that makes them.

Grade the decision, not the outcome. That's the whole shelf.

Educational content only — not investment advice. These books teach a decision-making process; nothing in them is a recommendation to buy or sell any security or derivative. In design

Quant Lab

The research side of the desk. Model work on historical F&O data — how positioning, flow and expiry mechanics actually behave once you measure them instead of asserting them.

Nothing here is live yet. This section is in design. When it opens, research notes, interactive charts and video walkthroughs will be tagged into it as they publish.

In design

Research notes

Written studies: the question, the method, the data, and what the result actually supports — including when it supports nothing.

In design

Interactive charts

The same studies with the chart in your hands rather than as a screenshot, so you can see the shape of the data yourself.

In design

Video walkthroughs

The method explained end to end — what was built, what broke, and how the result was checked before it was published.

What Quant Lab will not do. No live market data, no strike levels, no positioning readouts, and no forward-looking calls on any index or security. It covers method and historical study only — how something was measured and what the measurement supports.

Nothing published here is a research report or a recommendation, and it does not provide a basis for any investment decision. Henil Dedhia is not a SEBI-registered research analyst or investment adviser. Trading in F&O carries a high risk of loss.
