Terms & disclaimer
Last updated 21 July 2026. By using this site, its free material, its books, or the Trade Journal tool, you agree to what's below. I've kept it short and honest — the point is to be clear about what this is, and what it isn't.
The short version: everything here is education about an options-trading decision process. It is not investment advice, and I am not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst. I don't tell you what to buy or sell, and I don't promise any outcome. Your trading decisions are yours alone.
1. Education only — not advice
Top 10% Trader is an educational brand. Everything I publish — posts, videos, books, worked examples, and the Trade Journal tool — exists to teach a disciplined way of thinking about trading decisions. None of it is investment advice, a research report, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security or derivative. Examples use made-up, round numbers to illustrate a decision-making process, not to predict or imply any result. I am not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst, and nothing here should be treated as a personalised recommendation. Before you act on anything you learn here, consider your own circumstances and, where appropriate, consult a professional who is licensed to advise you.
2. No liability for trading decisions
Trading in futures and options carries a high risk of loss and isn't suitable for everyone. When you place a trade, you do so on your own judgment and at your own risk. To the fullest extent the law allows, I accept no liability for any loss, damage, or cost arising from decisions you make after using this site, its material, or its tools. The content is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and I don't guarantee it is complete, current, or error-free.
3. The content is mine
The writing, videos, book text, worked examples, designs, and the "Top 10% Trader" name and branding on this site are my intellectual property, unless clearly credited otherwise. You're welcome to read, learn from, and share links to it. You may not copy, republish, resell, or pass off the material as your own, or use it to build a competing product, without my written permission. Quoting a short passage with attribution and a link back is fine.
4. Books and the journal are sold through Amazon
My books and the printed journal are published and fulfilled by Amazon. When you buy one, that purchase happens on Amazon and is governed by Amazon's own terms, pricing, and return and refund policies — not by me. I don't process your payment, and I never see your card details. Any issue with an order, delivery, or refund is handled through Amazon.
5. The Trade Journal runs in your browser
The Trade Journal tool runs entirely client-side. Everything you type into it — instrument, thesis, prices, position size, P&L, notes — is computed and stored only in your own browser (localStorage) and is never sent to me or to any server. Because of that, clearing your browser data will erase your entries, and I can't recover them for you. Keep your own backup if the entries matter to you, and please don't type real account numbers, card numbers, or other payment details into any notes field — it's simply not needed for the journal to do its job.
6. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms as the site grows. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you have a question about any of this, emailtop10percenttrader@gmail.com.
Educational content only — not investment advice. Examples use made-up, round numbers to teach a decision-making process, not to predict outcomes. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy or sell any security or derivative. Trading in F&O carries a high risk of loss. The author is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst. "Top 10% Trader" describes disciplined process — grading the decision, not the outcome — not a performance ranking, a return claim, or a promise to beat the market.
